sometimes I lack good judgement.

Yesterday was one of those days.

sometimes it just feels like the weight of the world is coming down on you, so many things at once spinning oh so out of control, that you have no control over. I cant fix everything, I cant make everything stop hurting. Sometimes things are just broke and they can’t be fixed. I wanted to control something in my life, and for no good reason, i cut my hair. first in little chunks then larger. my head is a mess. but it was liberating at least. to control something. even if it was something as trivial as my hair.

I spent the morning tweaking the hairs, it doesn’t look too bad now.

i just want things to work & not be broken sometimes.

Those remind me of my friend Julie, she just did/is doing this neat light&photography project for her photo class at school. I look up to that lil fartface alot. I don’t have the patience I think, to do anything like that. So much sitting still and waiting, and sometimes it doesn’t even warrant results. I’m much more an instant results type guy.

” there’s things i know, i shoulda mentioned sooner, but I didn’t know how, I’m sorry I lost you, i never thought this could come between us…… ”

anyway. to say that I’m feeling better is an understatement. As much as I despise doctors but when push comes to shove, they give me great things to feel better.

speaking of feeling better. I tend to give advice on love, and relationships but lack the balls to heed my own words. I’m sitting here around one of the greatest romantic times of the year. ( the winter season, christmas, new years ) and I will most likely go through the motions again. Watching family and friends, spend time with their loved ones and such. Im a sad sack aren’t I? It’s not like I don’t want that. I just don’t know that I can do that. I tend to want to much, im needy. I want that girl who is there, ya know? like gets me. I’m a mess I’m broken and bruised. I am not pretty, athletic, or smart. I tend to think on the fly, and go with my gut. I sometimes say things without thinking. I want to be myself around a girl. I want her to be herself around me. I miss most about dating, and the art of love is the little things. Sitting on the bed watching cartoons or a movie, having dinner at mcdonalds sharing the order of fries. the little things are what last. not the gifts or the words. those little memories you make. they haunt and never fade.

im lucky enough to have surrounded myself with great friends, often much like me, in and out of relationships, unable to commit, unable to start. I want the best for all of them, but I want it for me too.
